The Recommended Text or Red Spot Collection consists of materials which are required reading for coursework and assignments. These include textbooks, reference texts and periodicals.

If the materials are already available in the Library, please send an e-mail request to Lib Loan Services at least 3-5 days in advance, with details on the title, the period required to be in Red Spot, the intended course and the number of students who are expected to need each title.

As the Library library catalogue (OPAC) Advanced Search optopn provides a search of Red Spot materials recommended by instructor name, kindly include this information in the email if the request is sent by the course coordinator.
