Podium

This corner of Level 3 is designed with a mini-stage and projection facilities. Talks, exhibitions, performances, screenings of videos or DVDs, and other exciting activities can be held here. Staff who wish to use the Podium can send an email request to Lib Loan Services to make reservations in advance. Kindly state the purpose and expected audience type and size.

Please note that the request will be rejected if the event is deemed unsuitable for the Library’s premises.

Training & Seminar Rooms

We have a training room that seats 32; and a seminar room (primarily for staff use) for about 40 people on Level 9. Staff are required to send an email request to Lib Loan Services to book the rooms in advance.

Please note that these rooms are primarily for staff training and library user education workshops.

Staff Reading Area

There is also a staff reading area at Level 9. This is especially for staff who need a quiet place to review materials. This area is open during office hours on weekdays.
