bullet How do I login to the Digital Library?

  • Students - use your admission number & TP password.
  • Part-time Students - report to the Customer Service Counter on Level 2
  • External members - use your IC number for user name & password

bullet What if I forget my TP password?

  • You will need to start by searching our Library catalogue - OPAC. Come to the Information Counter on Level 5 if you need more help

bullet What do I do if a book I am looking for is not on the shelves?

  • If the Library catalogue does not show a date under " Due date ", you may need to ask the Library Staff at the Customer Service Counter on Level 2 to search for the book for you

bullet How do I get the book if it is in Closed Stacks?

  • Books in the Closed Stacks are usually quite old or damaged in some way. If you need to read one, please ask the Library Staff at the Customer Service Counter on Level 2 to fetch it for you, between 11am and 3pm on weekdays

bullet How do I get the CD-ROM that goes with a book?

  • Please ask the Library Staff at the Customer Service Counter on Level 2

bullet What if I damage or lose Library material?

  • Please report all damages or losses to the Library Staff at the Customer Service Counter on Level 2 immediately. Remember that you are responsible for ALL loans issued under your name. So do not lend your Library / Matric card to a friend!

  • Red spot books may be loaned overnight from 5.30pm on weekdays, and 1.30pm on Saturdays during term (vacation time - weekdays 3.30pm, and Saturdays 9.30am)

bullet What Library Services can I access from home?

  • You can access any of the online services available on our Portal - just enter your login details when you see the PINK SCREEN

bullet Are there scanners in the Library?

  • Yes, there are PC & Mac scanners on Level 4
