Friendly
Sink for the Disabled (2002)
This sink was designed
with the wheelchair bound person in mind. Its height-adjustable
feature allows a person sitting in a wheelchair to reach
the tap with ease. To adjust the height of the sink, the person
is required only to press a button attached to the sink.
This user-friendly
sink has been donated to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital's Artificial Limb Centre (see Engineerrus report).
