TS : For the teenager of today
Why Ts? That was the question on our minds as we dug into our Archives for more information. And we found it! 

In the inaugural issue in 1995, editor Ms Evelyn Chong wrote:

"Why the name Ts… Teen life is fill of Ts : Teenagers, today's Truths, tomorrow's Trends, teen Targets, Talents, Tastes, Thoughts, True-life accounts, Testimony, Triumphs … T also represents Temasek Polytechnic and through Ts we want to show you a whole new world; young, bold, caring and exciting."

Besides introducing the various courses conducted in Temasek Polytechnic, Ts also highlighted interesting jobs by TP graduates, and career opportunities for graduating students. It also featured teenagers' and parents' peeves, latest happenings and up-and-coming events.

Ts went online in 2000/2001 with a new editor at the helm (Andy Kwan), and a new tagline for the e-version: "Teasing your imagination …a bi-yearly e-zine for cool teens".

The e-version of Ts is not the full version of the print copy. It highlights Helping Out (volunteerism work by TP students); Happenings (activities and events participated by TP Students); Stepping Out (interviews of graduates about their lives after TP, their dreams and their future); Achievements (participation and award-winning feats by students in various competitions); Fitting room (School of Design - ADM students project and activities); & Travel (student exchange programmes, activities organized by SDAD etc.)

In February 2002, Tang Quin Choy, took over the editor role.
